Encountering Mask of Ice with Gold. Things go poorly. [vol. 9, p. 162-190]

UHHHHHHHH. Where do I even start with this memory. This is a huge, huge memory for Silver, since it fills in a lot of the details that have been bothering him (most recently babbled about here).
I would just link to pages from the Chuang Yi translation, but honestly, they did a really poor job with a lot of things and this scene is one of them. So instead I translated some key bits myself :B

GOLD: What?! Fog?!
GOLD: This fog... I've seen it somewhere...
GOLD: ! It couldn't be!
MASK OF ICE: Fufufu.
GOLD: It's him!

MASK OF ICE: Nine years ago, I kidnapped children who showed great promise as trainers from various places.

MASK OF ICE: It's obvious. So that I could use them as my servants.

MASK OF ICE: Kukuku, so it's true. You've become weak, Silver. If you'd stayed with me, you wouldn't have fallen victim to the weakness of protecting another person -- you'd have become the perfect trainer.
GOLD: That's wrong!
MASK OF ICE: What?
GOLD: Silver, weak?! What are you, blind?
GOLD: I don't wanna admit it, but he's pretty damn strong!
MASK OF ICE: ... oh?
GOLD: I've witnessed his strength a bunch of times up until now!
GOLD: Silver isn't weak. He just hasn't lost sight of what's important to a trainer!
SILVER: .......
GOLD: Instead, with how you're clinging to the remnants of Team Rocket... aren't you the weak one?

MASK OF ICE: What happened to the long-haired girl who ran away with you?
SILVER: ...!
MASK OF ICE: That girl you loved so dearly.
MASK OF ICE: Did she die like a dog somewhere while running away?!
MASK OF ICE: If so, it would be a fitting end for such a coward!
So now Silver knows he was kidnapped at a young age by a sadistic psycho who was attempting to brainwash kids into being an army of obedient puppets. This explains so much, you guys, you don't even know. But apparently he and Blue escaped! And despite Mask of Ice's words, he knows that Blue survived, because he has a memory with her in it later, so that's a potential moment of extreme panic avoided.
Despite the memory being sig neg for him in canon, in Aather I think he's actually going to react very positively towards it because it answers questions!!1! I think it'll do a lot for his confidence. Gosh I don't even know, this is so fun :3c
