[MEMORY LOG] Memories #22 & #23
Meeting Crys and watching Gold POKÉHANGLIDER Lugia. [HERE]
From: Kiriko's bird-box game.
Form: a small onyx wooden box.
Shareable: unlimited
What he learned:
⇢ I see we made a great first impression on Crys.
⇢ This is immediately getting filed under "HOW DOES GOLD EVEN EXIST, OH MY GOD"
Learning his father's identity; waking up in Team rocket's airship with Giovanni. [HERE]
From: Maleficent's description game.
Form: a tiny onyx dessert cake.
Shareable: no
This covers: 1) encountering Sird and Orm; 2) the tag battle with Yellow; 3) holy Darth Vader revelations, Batman!, 4) waking up and having a breakdown on Sneasel; 5) attempting to drag Giovanni out of the crashing airship and ultimately losing consciousness again.
What he learned:
OH NO IT'S THE BOMBSHELL. In canon, this pretty much represents the destruction of Silver's tentatively rekindled hopes regarding finding his biological family. He's always loathed Team Rocket due to Pryce's plans regarding the organization as well as their general operating methods, and… his dad's the one who created it \:D/ Blue has perfectly normal loving people as her biological parents, and he has Giovanni. WELP. On the one hand, Aather's really just enforced his inclination towards self-made families, but on the other hand… this is still going to be a hell of a blow, and he's actually probably going to judge himself a lot for the fact that it is a blow, considering he's close with people like Viola who don't have parents at all. Oops.
SKILL: "Exchanger"-specific knowledge and skills
From: Jabberwock's points game.
Form: a slightly-too-rare bite of meat of unknown origin.
Silver now has an encyclopedic knowledge of Pokémon trading, especially trade-based evolutions and the scientific theories behind the phenomenon. Every Pokédex holder in the manga has a certain area they excel in: trading is Silver's. It's closely related to Blue's evolutionary specialization, since they were trained together.
