H. HELLO AATHER. I am back from the land of schoolwork eating my face off.

Please assume that Silver, Shes, and Richard have been Persona-napped since late Day 159. There would have been enough time for all of them to assure concerned parties that they were okay (or mmmmore or less okay, in Richard's case) after the whole Darkness!Three trauma game, since that happened super early in the morning. They also would have left notes!

I'll be putting them out in posts to return to play over the next few days ♥

So, hey guys! In tonight's game, I had Silver submit "pokémon" as a word, because, well, pokémon. I was not really thinking about how other characters might define it in a non-Aather context! Whooooops.

I SHOULD HAVE REALIZED...

Anyway, the point is that I'm not really comfortable playing out conversations about the Pokémon franchise being fictional with Silver right now. I'm not asking anyone to retcon knowledge or whatever, because, hey, it's a pop culture phenomenon. But if that could not be brought up ICly around Silver, that would be great and I would appreciate it muchly. Thanks! o7
exchanged: (一体どこに不満があるの?)
SKILL: wilderness survival skills

FROM: Guinevere's feat game.
FORM: a pear

Silver has lived on his own (or with Blue) since he was like five years old! A lot of that time was spent in the tall grass great outdoors, since, you know, Pokémon universe. This skill covers all the assorted things he would have learned about surviving in the wilderness: everything from the boy scout-y (how to make a fire, how to make shelters, what not to eat) to the not so boy scout-y (hun...ting..., how to sneak into other people's tents and make off with the maximum amount of supplies, etc). SILVER IS A RESOURCEFUL GUY. He has literally built up a system of hideouts stashed all over Johto/Kanto.

In other words, useful stuff for Camelot!

On a boat with Crys. [HGSS, 448]

FROM: Scheherazade's one word story game.
FORM: a little book with five empty pages
SHAREABLE: 4/5

After they meet up at the Safari Zone, Crys and Silver get on a boat. Crys immediately takes charge, calling Earl at the Academy, Professor Oak, and her mom to update them on the situation. She offers Silver a new Pokégear, which he tries to refuse because Crys has no reason to get dragged into this mess. She retorts that there's no way she can just leave him, and Silver inadvertently proves her point by accidentally revealing that he's been hiding the fact that his arm was injured in the battle with Petrel. She heals him with Parasect, which embarrasses him -- but she holds up her Pokédex and says, "Don't worry about it. We're comrades, right?"

She explains that her plan is to head to Ecruteak, since she thinks Morty will be able to help them figure out what Team Rocket is up to. She says she's left the Academy students with Eusine, and that while it's her policy to never leave a job she's taken on incomplete, she has to pursue Team Rocket... for the sake of those children, whose safety Team Rocket would endanger. She can't just stand on the sidelines when something like this is going on. She corrects herself and says it's not just Team Rocket: if she can, she wants to protect the future for those children and their hopes.

Silver stares at her, clearly impressed, and smiles a little. She gets flustered and thinks he's staring at the outfit her mom has made her wear, and starts hurriedly disclaimering it (and wails that no matter what, Gold can't be allowed to see her like this).

What he learned:
- Crys is amazing ///
- Be less of an idiot about accepting help, self. Though in Aather he's already a lot better about this than in canon.

This memory covers the final parts of the battle against Archie and the giant Jirachi-created Kyogre, as well as the aftermath.

Note: It also includes the actual Battle Frontier tournament once the crisis is over and everyone's rested a little, which isn't shown on screen. So if anyone (cough Paul cough) wants to see that as well, they can. (There's no canon as to how the battles go other than Crys losing to Blue, but I would hazard a guess that Silver loses to Yellow.)

- basic gardening
- basic hand-to-hand fighting

Room Info
"Each bedroom is round, with a wide pillar in the center where the stairwell cuts up through the middle of it. There is a window in each cardinal direction."

Silver's room looks vaguely like this. Notes:
- The bedsheets are cream, the blankets are black, and the canopy is red. The pillows are a mix of colors.
- His Pokédex sits on the bedside table when he's not using it. There are little hollows in the table in the shape of Pokéballs for easy storage without them rolling off.
- The cabinet has an upper half and a lower half. The upper half has shelves, which Silver uses to store his memories. The lower half has drawers, where he stores his clothes.
- The desk has a bulletin board on the wall over it. On the bulletin board are: lists of quests (both given and undertaken) with rewards; maps of Beauty's Forest, Three's Cove, Wonderland, and Camelot (in progress) with notes scribbled in the margins. A drawer contains a few empty Pokéballs and, wrapped in a piece of cloth, the Prince's compass. A notebook (filled with notes about Aather's plot) and a bound, somewhat battered book entitled Mysteries of the Earth sit on the desk, as does a lantern.
- A large fireplace is set into one wall. Strewn around it are some large beanbags, big enough for people and Pokémon to flop on.
- There is a big metal basin of a tub, big enough for Feraligatr, stored near the central pillar.
- About a third of the room is covered in a good-quality training mat. It's used for indoor Pokémon training (so, you know, not much in the way of special attacks, but agility and close physical combat). There's a climbing rope hanging from the ceiling.

Inventory:
on-hand:
- his Pokédex (HGSS version)
- his Pokégear (HGSS version, contains an extra app)
- some simple lockpicks
- a lion-skin pouch (usually contains a few berries and two bandages)

in his room:
- a pack of eight QuikHeal(tm) brand bandages (these stop bleeding and infection when applied to a wound, and speed healing as per a minor cure spell)
- a fused bone statue in the shape of a crow
- a steampunk-looking Pokéball that must be wound daily with a small key
- memory items:
   - a boot
   - a black feather
   - a white gold bracelet engraved with a snake
   - a monocle
   - sugar flower
   - small onyx box
   - onyx ribbon
   - drop spindle
   - a plastic bag with a gingerbread person
   - a silver charm bracelet
   - a golden crown
   - a little book
   - a tiny cage with an onyx bird
   - a cluster of heart-shaped mini-apples
   - a tiny, sharp axe
   - a burned gingerbread girl
   - a small onyx wooden box
   - a small dark grey hand mirror
   - a palm-sized teddy bear
   - a small black bottle of mead
   - thumbnail-sized candy apples
   - glass lotus candle holder w/black candle

SKILL: Totodile evolution

> What? TOTODILE is evoloving!
> Congratulations! Your TOTODILE evolved into FERALIGATR!

Because if Aather can devolve Pokémon, it can totally skip a stage when re-evolving them. Feraligatr's stats are here.
